Dear Participants, Sponsors, Partners and Supporte

Dear Participants, Sponsors, Partners and Supporters,

Due to unavoidable circumstances, we regret to announce that the Go the Distance – Rotary 24-Hour Cyclothon, scheduled for 3rd–4th October at Kasarani Indoor Arena, has been postponed.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding, patience and continued support.

A new date will be communicated in due course.

We look forward to getting back on the bikes and going the distance together in support of the Kenya Society for the Blind.

Today, Thursday, 24th September 2026, we're having

Today, Thursday, 24th September 2026, we're having Koroga Night at Anghiti Restaurant on Rhapta Road, from 6:30 PM. It's a members' evening with our Rotaractors.

This one is special: it's also our club's 96th birthday. We'll raise a toast to 96 years of the Rotary Club of Nairobi and cut cake for everyone born in July, August and September.

The evening is simple. Good food, mixed seating so you sit with people you don't usually sit with, a quick "how I joined Rotary" round at each table, short committee shoutouts, and club history trivia — table against table, so bring your phone and your club knowledge.

Come, and bring your stories. It's the members who show up who make these evenings worth it.

Join us on Thursday, 17th September 2026 from 12.3

Join us on Thursday, 17th September 2026 from 12.30pm at Golden Tulip, Muthithi Road to unpack The Stability Blueprint. We are privileged to host a guest speaker uniquely equipped to address this complex intersection: Irungu Nyakera.

Few leaders bridge global finance, state planning, and community development like Irungu. Drawing from his diverse background as a Wall Street investment banker, former Principal Secretary for Transport, and Stanford alumnus, he will break down our upcoming challenges:

The Finance Lens (Capital): Leverage his leadership at NIC Capital and Equity Investment Bank to map out safeguards that shield local businesses from election-cycle disruptions.

The Policy Lens (Campaigns): Utilize his experience as Kenya's youngest Principal Secretary and parastatal head to see how shifting political landscapes impact the frontline economy.

The Philanthropy Lens (Community): Connect his grassroots work at the Irungu Nyakera Foundation with practical ways civic organizations like Rotary can anchor social cohesion.

Come gather high-level insights from a seasoned technocrat and corporate leader to understand how we can collectively navigate the road to 2027 and still remain true to the Kenya that we love.

Celebrating 96 years of the Rotary Club of Nairobi

Celebrating 96 years of the Rotary Club of Nairobi — nearly a century of service, fellowship and creating lasting impact in our community. 🎉

As part of this milestone, we had an insightful fellowship with economist and CBK Monetary Policy Committee member Jared Osoro, who shared valuable perspectives on Kenya’s macro-financial stability as we look towards the 2027 General Election.

The discussion explored political cycles, currency and market volatility, business resilience, liquidity, and how organisations can strategically prepare for the economic uncertainties ahead.

A wonderful milestone for our Club, made even more meaningful through fellowship and learning.
