Introduced as the youngest and tallest President of Rotary Club of Nairobi the Flagship Rotary Club in the subcontinent. No stranger to Kenyans, Ritesh who takes charge of the mother club of Rotary in East and Central Africa, is a fourth generation Kenyan. He pursued higher education in London and holds an Msc in Business Finance. Ritesh, Director of Barco Hiring & Leasing Limited is also an investor and financial analyst, writer and business columnist. Having received much media attention from both local and international media owing to his height, he has used the media platform to champion causes in support and aid of the physically challenged and is a passionate humanitarian. Ritesh is also a gifted artist and has held several exhibitions of watercolours at and featured multiple times in the acclaimed Kenya Arts Diary.

Recipient of OGW state honor from His Excellency the President of the Republic of Kenya. Ritesh received the National recognition of Order of the Grand Warrior of Kenya on 1st June 2017.

At a very well attended installation ceremony that was carefully curated for Zoom, owing to the current Covid guidelines, the outgoing President Jessica Kazina symbolically handed over the chain, gavel and bell as an indication of change of guard at the helm of the club in this historically significant year.

In his opening remarks, Ritesh said that , it is an honor to serve as the 90th President of RCN and with the support of his Board and esteemed fellow Club members he would continue several high impact projects that the club had undertaken for the benefit of Kenyans.

Ritesh has earlier served as assistant treasurer, Public Relations Director, Club Administration Director, Membership Director, two terms as Club Secretary, Fundraising Director for the 39th Annual Rotary Sunshine Rally, District 9212 Cancer Awareness Secretary and   Communications Director for Rotary Day at the UN 2018, an International event held for the first time in Africa.

Outlining his fourfold vision for the Club, Ritesh said that he would focus on strengthening connections with the Community via high impact projects, enhancing the membership, presence and glory once associated with this prestigious club, the Mother Club in East and Central Africa.

The ceremony was carried out by Incoming Rotary District Governor Patrick Obath. MC for the event was Rtn Past President Arun Devani. Incoming Vice President of the Club Ambassador Dr Josephine Ojiambo was present together with Incoming and Outgoing Presidents Ritesh Barot and Jessica Kazina.
