What is Rotaract?

Rotaract is an international organisation of service clubs for men and women aged 18-30 that fosters leadership and responsible citizenship, encourages high ethical standards in all professions, and promotes international understanding and peace.  Rotaract provides an opportunity for the youth to enhance their personal development, address the physical and social needs of their communities, and promote better relations between all people worldwide through a framework of friendship and service. A fundamental member of Rotary International, Rotaract is a combination of “Rotary” and “Action.”

The Rotary Club of Nairobi (RCN) has sponsored the following Rotaract club: Rotaract Club of Nairobi Central (RCNC).

What is Interact?

Interact is a club of young people from age 12 – 18 years who join together to tackle the issues in their community that they care most about, through Interact you can:

  • Carry out service projects,
  • make international connections,
  • develop leadership skills and
  • have fun.

Every Interact Club should carry out two service projects a year: one that helps their school or community and one that promotes International understanding.
